i currently have a DE-4800 filter and may be changing to a cartridge. what would you recommend?
If you are switching from a 100 GPM DE filter to a cartridge filter, select one that matches or exceeds the 100 GPM flow rate. Ensure it has an adequate filtration area and is compatible with your pump. The filter’s maximum flow rate should not be lower than the pump’s flow rate; otherwise, it may damage the pump and cause overheating issues. I recommend the Hayward W3C cartridge filter.
